## Convert Fractions to Percents

One percent (1%) represents a hundredth of a whole.

One hundred percent (100%) represents a whole.

To convert a fraction to percents, simply multiply it by a whole (100%).


### Examples

½ × 100% = 50%

⅛ × 100% = 12.5%
