Quantitative Surveys

Quantitative surveys look at the statistical approach of analyzing the survey results. The questions are designed in a way so that the answers are recorded in numbers. Then you look at how many users have answered certain questions.

Quantitative Surveys tell us about

  • How many users use the product?
  • What kind of people use the product?
  • What is the market for our product?

It is a great approach to test the market, see trends, patterns, user base, see success of the product etc.

Example Questions

  • Do you use Free code camp?
    • Yes
    • No
  • How many challenges have you finished in free code camp?
    • Less than 100
    • Less than 500
    • More than 500
  • How many certificates have you earned on free code camp in total?
    • 0
    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
